Day 5
Day 5 and our last day of rehearsal. The dancers, under the tutelage of Maestra Abril Iñiguez, did brilliantly.
The dancers were joined on stage by our musicians, ready to accompany the bailarinas with their pre hispanic sounds.
As all this movement and sound took place downstairs, upstairs Maestro Juan Navarro held a print making workshop. I found this fellow (below) lounging around the printmaking studio.
Maestro Navarro gave a thorough lecture on the space, its purpose and respecting the process.
