The Dreams Project - August 2017 - Ajijic, Jalisco Mexico Day 1

Day 1

This year Cochera Cultural decided on "Dreams" as its theme for the 2017 Ajijic Children's Project.

Our Registration Crew

We arranged to have all the activities centralized at the Ajijic Cultural Center on Ajijic Plaza.

Children started pouring in as the start time arrived...and our volunteers were ready.

Children's Art

Maestra Yolanda Ramirez Michel guided the children through an imagining workshop, geared toward
inspiring creative writing and drawing process.

We all were spellbound by her presentation

And so were the children

Imagining Tools

After the workshop presentation, all the children went to work on either writing or drawing their own books

Our friend Gabo also presented another opportunity to the group of children...the opportunity of having their own stories and drawings published through a writing contest.

As is usually the case, the children took the creative lead and led us on fascinating journeys.

Let's see what day 2 will hold.
